Cheung Chik-lin's wife and a daughter were also

killed, and his son Cheung Shao-ng hae inherited his debts.

There is no proof that Cheung Chik-lin and his wife had,

as their son says, over $1000 worth of personal property

on board, but it is fair to say that they had at least $500

worth, besides leaving debts amounting to over $1000 to the

boat-builders and fokia.
